AbilityOne Reports 2013 Fiscal Year

In fiscal year 2013, the AbilityOne program employed nearly 48,000 people with major disabilities including many with severe visual impairment. The program provides employment as well for 3,000 veterans.

Originally implemented through the Wagner Act in 1938, AbilityOne was started as a means to help the blind. Over the next several decades, the program has grown to support many new products and services. Their quarterly newsletter, Opportunity Magazine, highlights success stories of the AbilityOne program. When you buy AbilityOne products sold through the Skilcraft brand, a portion of each sale is donated to the AbilityOne cause.

OfficeSalesUSA.com, a service of Haskell New York Inc., is an authorized AbilityOne participant.
